The biggest challenge of working on a tall ship was getting over a fear of heights and big waves and living with a lot of people in a small area.
I overcame it by just sucking it up.
The biggest misconception about working on tall ships is that it pays like a yacht.
Relationships onboard are dangerous.
I tend to love the danger.
I am happiest in a bar full of women OR in a calm sea watching the sun come up OR in a bar full of women watching the sun come up.
Favorite port of call? Halifax, Nova Scotia...it's just very lively.
Would you rather be in a storm at sea or a public open house in port? storm at sea, because public open houses are just annoying.
Cats or dogs? dogs...cats scratch.
Favorite celebrity captain? Captain Ron!!!
Someday I hope to be the captain of a tall ship.
